Diana Kellett
I discovered the world of painting somewhat later in life following my retirement from medical practice.
I was initially self-taught and experimented with acrylics, watercolour and mixed media but it wasn't until I was introduced to the Worlington Movement members, particularly Heath Rosselli, that I began using oil as a medium. With her guidance, I began using oil colour, together with the glazing technique favoured by the Movement and realised that I was best suited to this method of painting.
Whilst I enjoy painting a variety of subjects from buildings to animals, it is the painting of still life which interests me most, especially the challenge of capturing light and reflections in the picture.
