Dawn Kay

Dawn is a fine artist and illustrator, using both age old methods and contemporary mediums. She works in oils using the traditional techniques of glazing to craft delicate paintings bathed in light.

She also illustrates using digital art mediums fused with drawing to mirror the technique of painting in glazes, creating enchanted and ethereal worlds for children that glow and shimmer with luminosity.

Having achieved a BA fine art degree and Postgraduate Psychology Diploma, Dawn uses her experiences of deep inner reflection as a source of inspiration for creating her artworks, exploring the sublime through both the imagination and the beauty of the world around us.
