Ann Buonassisi

Back in 1992 I began an art and design course at West Suffolk College and went on to complete a BA(Hons) Fine Art degree at Oxford Brookes University. After studying I found work as a Design and Technology Technician at a college and in my spare time turned to my musical interests and abilities.

I developed my skills, started working as a drum and guitar tutor and gained experience as a jazz drummer. During the pandemic I began drawing again, mainly animals, in pencil and pastel and was pleased to receive several commissions for pet portraits.

I was keen to then try other mediums, in particular oil painting, which led me to Heath Rosselli and the Worlington Movement. I now find myself drawing and painting every day and love practicing and exploring the art of oil painting.
